“And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.” Isaiah 30v21
Do not leave for your destination, with the impression that a belief in the Gospel, is all that is necessary for salvation.
Something more is required and is important.
The conviction of Faith given by the enlightenment of The Gospel – received either by word or teaching, requires obedience in baptism because this enlightenment gives a man or woman the ability to “work out your own salvation – before enlightenment this was impossible.
To be obedient to the faith one should be prepared to make the commandments of Christ their rule of life for without this Christ will not acknowledge them and our faith will be of no eventual advantage.
Philippians2v12 – “Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling”
John 15v14 – “Ye are my friends if ye do whatsoever I command you”
